Canvas Parent Release Notes (iOS 3.16)

Canvas iOS app version updates are distributed in a phased rollout, which distributes the update to all users enrolled in automatic updates over time. The features in these notes may not immediately be available, but iOS users can manually update the app at any time in the App Store. The Canvas Parent iOS App requires iOS 16.0 or later.

Parent App Updates

  • Improved integration for New Quizzes. 
  • Resolved issue with No Submission and On Paper assignments displaying a Not Submitted status.
  • Improved tab bar functionality on iPads running iOS 18.
  • Addressed issue with file uploads failing when filenames contained quotation marks.
  • Improved calendar display of filters and events in certain cases.
