All course questions showing in item and question banks.

When using question banks or item banks (depending on what version of the quiz create you are using) do you have to see the banks you have for all of your courses?  I don't want to see my general chemistry questions when I'm working in my organic chemistry course.  Is there a way to see questions by the course?  I have found if I delete something in one course, it is deleted in all of them.  If there is not a way, can we make folders somehow?  I'm just trying to 1, not confuse questions from one course with another and 2, not have to scroll through so many questions.
