[ARCHIVED] [ARCHIVED] Annotations on past submissions

We are having issues with students being able to view Speedgrader annotations on only one file, that is, the file they most recently submitted. It is common for students to submit more than one document for any one assignment - often submitting several files within a few seconds of each other. If the teacher annotates on each document submitted there doesn't seem to be any way the student can easily view each of the documents and the teacher's annotations? Are we missing something?? Surely this has to be accounted for somehow in Canvas? We know the student can download past submissions but that is clunky and also not great as far as viewing annotations because they have to use a mouse over. So are we missing something obvious here or is this an oversight by Canvas and how it's been designed? Thanks Smiley Happy

@marion_weeks , unfortunately, no, you are not missing something. The only work arounds that I’m aware of are for the Instructor to download the annotated file and then attach it to the comments of the assignment OR students can see all feedback from all assignment submissions if they are using the Mobile app. I’d also recommend voting and commenting on the following feature idea - https://community.canvaslms.com/ideas/1076-student-view-view-submissions-and-comments-for-all-submis...

Hope this helps! Kona
