Hi everyone
We are using Announcements as a way of communicating a weekly schedule with students. Some staff are opting to open these up for comments. Had a few staff ask if they will receive an email if a students respond to their announcement with a comment. Some have told me that they haven't received any email notification, so not sure if this something that is supposed to happen or not?

Hi, @dhumphreys , according to the Canvas Notifications PDF embedded in How do I set my Canvas notification preferences as an instructor? , instructors who have enabled a notification for "Announcement Created by You" will also receive notifications of replies to those announcements, so ask the teachers who aren't receiving those notifications to double-check their preferences.
