Is there any way to share a recorded BBB Conference to another course in Canvas?  I am teaching 2 EMT courses - each with a different shell and CRN #- and I don't want to have to repeat an entire recorded lecture separately for each.

I don't think that it's possible to share a link to a recording from BBB, but I am going to tag  @ffdixon ‌ in my reply so that he can confirm this for sure.  I hope that he will be able to shed light on this for you.  Good luck!

HI Dana,

I am the product manager for BigBlueButton. I work at Blindside Networks, the company that provides hosting for Canvas Conferences to Instructure, and while can't speak on behalf of Instructure, I can respond to your question.

If you are on the Free Tier hosting for Canvas Conferences, which is the built-in default hosting, then the recording links are protected by default.  This means they are viewable from within Canvas, but only viewable by the current user and not shareable between courses.

If your school ever upgraded to the Premium Tier hosting, the recordings would be permanent (they would not expire within 14 days), and they would be sharable between courses.

If your interested to explore more, just reach out to your CSM about the options to upgrade.

Thank you Fred. Students are complaining that BBB does not loading on their Mac. I have tried it on mine the loading icon is still spinning. Can you help please.
