[ARCHIVED] Can I limit the number of responses students can select in a multiple answer question?

I am running student council elections through Canvas. Students can select 0, 1, or 2 candidates for each class representative position. I currently have these elections set up as ungraded surveys with a multiple answer question. Is there a way to limit the number of candidates they can select in a question? Or is there a different question type I should use that would allow these restrictions? Thank you!

Hi Robbie,

I never found a solution to this problem. I had to manually check each person's response to make sure nobody selected more options than I instructed. If anyone has any other insight to this, I would highly appreciate hearing from you! I'll have the same problem again next year when I do student council elections again.

I'd be interested in this too! Currently trying to create a way for club members to vote for 4 canidates to be student officers.
