Can Students Review Google Assignments Made with the Google LTI After Teacher Gives Feedback?

My students completed an activity with Google Docs that I added to Canvas with the External Tool - Google Assignment LTI.  I reviewed the student work and added comments to their Google Doc.  When they go back to the assignment in Canvas they can't see the Google Doc in the assignment.  What needs to happen for students to see the Google Doc in the Canvas assignment with feedback given?

Our teachers have the same question and I am having difficulty finding the answer.  Did you ever find a solution?

The issue is definitely with Google's LTI and not the Canvas integration.  I can't get a consistent error/solution combination but it seems that the issue is related to whether or not you use the "Return" button on the activity.  I think you need to hit return in order for students to be able to see your comments.

Also, the comments are slow to load.  Students need to wait a minute or two to get the comments to load.  I hope that helps, even though it is not really "the answer."  Best!
