How do I delete columns in the gradebook---as those Assignments

are no longer relevant???

You can't hide an assessment column from the gradebook but you can either:

• Hold the line diving each column and drag it to make the column smaller

• If you organise your assessments by Module or Assignment group, you can use "View" -> "Filters" to display only assessments in a particular module or assessment group. More info here: https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Instructor-Guide/How-do-I-use-the-Gradebook/ta-p/701

Gradebook columns exist for each activity worth points. This includes assignments, quizzes, discussions, etc.   You can either delete the activity no longer relevant, or change it to be worth no points.
