Canvas showing blank pages

I am on a new laptop with an older OS operating system and my dashboard list view nor calendar will show anything. It is a white screen with no dates or anything. the only pages that have things are courses which will only list my courses, the content is gone, and my account page. everything else is white.

I'm suspecting this is a browser issue.

Here are some ideas for you to try:

• Check your device compatibility: What are the basic computer specifications for Canvas?
• Check your browser compatibility: Which browsers does Canvas support? Note that Internet Explorer 11 is not a supported browser.
• Try a different browser. The latest version of Chrome works great in both Windows and MacOS.
• If none of these methods solve the problem, contact Canvas Support. General instructions are in How do I get help with Canvas as a student?, but your school's support setup might vary somewhat, in which case ask your local IT Department for additional troubleshooting assistance.
• There may be some other reasons that you cannot access your courses in Canvas...some of which are outlined here: Why can't I access my Course as a student?
