[ARCHIVED] Creating a Recurring Assignment

I'm wondering if it's possible to create a recurring assignment in Canvas. For instance, I want to have my students post to the same discussion board every Friday -- do I have to create a new assignment each week, or is there a way to make it recur over time? Thanks!

I have this question as well and haven't been able to find a way to do it.  I have an assignment that recurs 30 times in the semester and would like to be able to just post it as repeating with a new due date, the same way you can have the Zoom links crop up in the To Do list each time without re-entering it every time.
