Creating a discussion, adding a picture

Hello!  I found a guide about how to add a picture to a discussion post if you are a student.

As a student teacher using an ipad, I’m trying to create a discussion board.  I want to add some pictures in the creating of the discussion board.  So I have text, questions, and quotes that I have created using pictures, like a meme or whatever.  I just want it to be in the body of the discussion.  

I click on the picture icon in the tool bar, but it doesn’t put anything in there, it simply has the name of the file, but doesn’t actually show the picture.  The other options are Flickr, or a URL.  Since they are on my IPad, I’m just trying to upload them to canvas, i guess, but that won’t work.  

It is just because I’m using an IPad?  Or is there something else I’m missing?

Hey Kyle,

Click the picture icon, click the Canvas tab, and click one of the folders. Once you select a folder, you'll have an option to Upload. Go ahead and upload your file and click Update.
