Dashboard Missing Published Course

I am a teacher assigned a student role in a Canvas course created by administration.  On the dashboard, I can't see it's course card.  I can only see the course in list view.  I have been invited to the course again and I have accepted.  Administration has confirmed I am in the course as a student.  How do I get it's course card to show up in card view?  It's not listed in card view for all published courses either for me, but it is for other teachers assigned a student role.

When you go to your "Courses" >> "All Courses" screen, are you able to place a star next to that course name?  This is the way to "favorite" a course so that it appears on your Dashboard.  See either of these Guides (essentially the same directions):
