[ARCHIVED] Dashboard as Homepage

For some insane reason when I log onto Canvas from my laptop it opens to a specific course page rather than to my dashboard. Anyone able to give me the step-by-step fix for this one? Much appreciated.

Hello  @wgreen1  Welcome to the Canvas Community.  Thank you for posting your question.  By chance, do you have a bookmark saved in your browser that you are clicking on as a quick way to get to your school's Canvas environment?  If so, you might want to check the properties of that bookmark to see that it is pointing only to your school's Canvas dashboard URL and not a specific course.  For example, you would want it to look something like this:

https://SchoolName.instructure.com/

and not

https://SchoolName.instructure.com/courses/12345
