Due dates for assignment not showing until a refresh

We have a few students who are reporting that the due dates for an assignment are not showing and there is no submission button. They change browsers and still nothing, but after a refresh it works, so pointing to a caching issue. The instructor has made no changes since the course was published, though it is a course copied from previous year. 

The solution is an announcement to tell students to refresh, but the logic is bugging me. Has anyone seen this or something similar?

I have not encountered this but if you can consistently recreate this issue, then I would highly recommend submitting a ticket to Support.  This can be done from the course from Help > Report a Problem.

Hi - we haven't been able to find a student that this is happening to while it's actually happening or recreate it, so I didn't want to put in a ticket. Just a very odd behavior that we've never seen before..
