Finding an essay after it has been marked

Hello, I'm using canvas (as an instructor) for the first time to grade essays. I just opened one by clicking on it directly from the 'to do' list on my dashboard. I marked it as a canvas assignment rather than turnitin. After finishing and closing it I've been unable to find the essay again! I can find it under 'courses' but this time it appears as a turnitin item and the feedback I had written isn't there. Is there a way I can retrieve the one I already marked or do I need to do it all over in the turnitin version?

Hello @inglis ...

If you clicked on an item from your "To Do" list on the Dashboard, that should have taken you directly to your SpeedGrader for that assignment in your course.  You should be able to return to that assignment and then go to the SpeedGrader again to access the submitted assignment.  How do I get to SpeedGrader from an assignment, quiz, or graded discussion?
