I use grading rubrics for all assignments and provide feedback through the SpeedGrader comment function. Is there an easy way to know if a student responds there besides literally scrolling through all graded assignments? Thanks

Howdy @lrb19 ,
Thanks for posting your question. I believe that you are referring to "assignment comments?"
Option 1: If so, you can change your notifications to receive notice when students post assignment comments.
Option 2: Additionally, you can filter your Canvas Conversations/Inbox to select your class and then "Submission Comments". Any with the blue dot are new submission comments.
I actually have turned all notifications (except content link error) because I hold multiple roles at my university & enrolled in a plethora of classes (and live in Canvas more than my own house) so I use Option 2. I check it every day/every other day at specific times.
Hope that helps!
Sky V.
