Are announcements available to a specific group or every group?

is there any way to send announcements to individual groups within a course?

Hi,

Groups have their own Announcements area, so you just go to the group page for the group, then click on Announcements:  https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Student-Guide/How-do-I-add-an-announcement-in-a-group/ta-p/458

What about for instructors - how can they send Announcements to a group?

Hi @james_neill 

Instructors just go to the group homepage, then click on Announcements and add the announcement there.
