How do I move a video from one class to another

trying to use some videos I made for one class for another.

Did you create these videos directly in Canvas? Or were they uploaded/imported from another source? Or did you create them using Studio? There are several options here so let us know the source of your video and we can assist you further. Thanks!

The digital learning team filmed them and put them on my canvas for one

class. I would love to download each to my hard drive so I can put them

wherever I want.

Hi, Greg,

Thanks for the info. You have a couple of options.

1. Check your Files folder in the course and see if they were uploaded there. If so, you'll be able to download them. See How do I view course files as an instructor? 
2. If they are not located in the course Files folder, and the Direct Share feature option is enabled for your course, you can copy individual content directly to another course. (To learn how to do that, search "Direct Share" in the Canvas Instructor Guide to find the Direct Share instructions for the content area you need.)
3. If Direct Share is not enabled, you can use the Course Import Tool to copy the content areas where the videos live to another course. For instance, if they're in an assignment, or a page, you can copy that specific assignment or page and put it in a new course. See How do I copy content from another Canvas course using the Course Import tool? 
4. The last option is to contact the team who filmed them and ask for the files directly.
