How do I remove a course from my dashboard?

The semester has ended and I simply want to know how to remove a course from my dashboard?

You have the ability to customize your course list and change what is displayed on the Dashboard:

How do I use the Dashboard as an instructor? 

Unless you are actually unenrolled from a Canvas course, or that course is concluded, you will stay in the course indefinitely.
