Hi @karla_correamar ,
If you are talking about something from the Canvas Inbox, this is something that you will have to ask Canvas Support for. You will need to click Help > Report a Problem and open a support ticket. There is no guarantee that Support can retrieve the deleted content though.
If you are talking about a discussion, you can try using "undelete" Have you tried going to add /undelete after your course URL(SeeUndeleting things in Canvas ). You can also look in the beta/test instances of Canvas to see if your comment has been retained there. My recommendation is to check there and see if you can find it - How do I access the Canvas test environment? & How do I access the Canvas beta environment?
