[ARCHIVED] How to a run a report on Student activity?

I want to run a report on all the students in a course to look at activity levels, I can do it individually, however, I want to do it as a group.

Thank you for contacting Canvas Support. We're sorry to hear you've been experiencing issues with running analytics on a group of students. You probably then know how to run analytics on an individual user and currently there is also the option of New Analytics which gives us more options on running reports for students in your course:

However, are you trying to specifically run these types of reports on a group that you manually created within the People tab? If so, it doesn't currently function that way and you'd either need to look at individual analytics or course analytics for a full breakdown. Although we certainly see the need for running these types of reports in specific groups within a course. If none of this is relating to your inquiry we would likely need to speak with you directly to pinpoint the issue. There is always the option of more reports if you have admin privileges and there is an entire separate set of guides for that as well.
