[ARCHIVED] How to access previous courses

I would like to see the content from previous courses. How can I do that? Is there a way to request it from my university if all courses (previous courses) are not listed under the courses tab?

Hi Valerie, thanks for reaching out to the Canvas Community! If you're an instructor, your best bet is to talk to your Canvas admins, but if you're a student, this can be trickier. At our institution, students aren't given long term access to Canvas courses because it has led to cheating, but your institution may be different. Your Canvas administrators (sometimes called eLearning) will be able to tell you more.

If you're a student, I recommend talking to the instructors of your old courses and asking for any specific content you may be looking for. If you're specifically trying to find old document submissions, you might look in your Files, as your assignment submissions are there!
