Once you are logged in to canvas, how do you change your login password?

Hi  @elenacubbon  Welcome to the canvas Community and thanks for your question.

This one all depends on how your institution has things set up. They may not allow you to change your password. BUT if they have things set up for you to independently change passwords then here are your step by step instructions.

1. Go to "Account" in the global navigation pane on the left.
2. Under "Settings", choose "Edit Settings"
3. Check the "Change Password" box
4. Enter your default password in the "Old Password" box and create and repeat your new password (must be at least 8 characters)
5. Be sure to "Update Settings"
6. You're done!

Contact your institution if you find you are unable to change your password.
