[ARCHIVED] How to see who has submitted an attempt on the new Quizzes?

The New Quizzes function is infuriating!!  Is there a way for it to tell you if someone completed an attempt?  Currently it doesn't indicate this at all.  

Also, how can you see who has not had the essay questions graded so that I can jump to those quizzes?

Grading is currently so painful I am hating the new quizzes.  What am I missing?

I echo your frustrations but let's see if I can help a little.  I think the easiest way to view who has and hasn't taken a quiz will be to use the Moderate feature How do I use the Moderation page in New Quizzes?  . It will show a list which should show fairly well who has, hasn't and is in the process of taking the quiz.

Regarding grading the Essay question; I don't know.  From what I've heard this is one of the limitations of New Quizzes being built as an outside LTI in that it can't easily talk to Canvas and give an instructor a To Do list for questions needing to be graded.  The best or possibly way would be through Speed Grader, which is really difficult to get to with a New Quiz.  Take a look at this guide if you've not looked before.  It also seems to indicate that within SpeedGrader it will tell you which questions need to be reviewed https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-26482-how-do-i-grade-an-assessment-in-new-quizzes
