[ARCHIVED] I added Apex as an app, now what?

I successfully added Apex as an app. Now what? I only see it as an added app, no where else in my course. I would like to link it somehow to the assignments and to my grades. If I'm not able to, what is the purpose of adding it to my course?

Full disclosure, I have never used the Apex Learning LTI external app that integrates with Canvas.  However, I can maybe help with some general information related to LTI external apps.  Please take a look at this Guide: How do I use the Canvas App Center in a course?.  Just over half-way down this Guide, you'll find a heading for "Manage Course-Level Apps" and "View App Placements".  The "App Placements" will tell you exactly which areas that the Apex Learning LTI app can be used within your Canvas course.  Sometimes people ask how LTI apps can be placed in other areas of a Canvas course.  While that's not my area of expertise, I *think* this would be a decision left up to the people who designed the integration...in this case, Apex Learning.  It may be the case if Apex Learning only works with Assignment Selections, for example, it may not work as well in other areas of your course.
