Welcome to the Canvas Community! First, check the browser you're using to make sure it is fully up to date; Which browsers does Canvas support? lists the supported versions. Second, switch to a different browser; for example, if you're using Edge, switch to Chrome, or if you're using Chrome, switch to Firefox.
If these remedies don't solve the problem, you will need to contact Canvas Support for additional assistance. General instructions are in How do I get help with Canvas as a student? but your school's support setup might vary somewhat, in which case ask your local IT Department for additional troubleshooting assistance.
