Is it possible to allow students to view discussion but not post until a certain date?

I'm interested in allowing my students to view discussion prompts in advance, but I don't want them to post until the actual week in which the discussion is due.  Thanks for your help!

Hi  @wesley_benton  Thank You for your question.

That made me ponder. No you can't have the discussion open without letting people discuss.

BUT...

Perhaps just on a page you could have the discussion prompt to ponder then add the discussion later. 

Could that work for you?
