Unfortunately, I don't know that many people here in the Canvas Community will be able to help answer your question.  I'm not sure what LearnSmart is or how it might integrate with Canvas.  I don't see it listed as a third-party LTI app on the EduAppCenter.  Sometimes there will be third-party LTIs (such as those listed on this website) that have some kind of grade pass-back into Canvas.  I don't know if that kind of integration exists between LearnSmart and Canvas.  I would recommend that you reach out to the folks at LearnSmart to see if they can help you with this...as they would be the ones who could tell you if they do any kind of grade pass-back into the Canvas Gradebook.  I hope this will help, John.

Thank you for your comment. Canvas does not seem to work very well. Period.

Ah...McGraw Hill!  I'm not sure if you have seen this or not, but there is a third-party LTI app available to integrate McGraw Hill content with Canvas.  The kinds of content that it offers, however, is not something I would know about.  But, here is an info page on McGraw Hill Campus that may be of help.  I would recommend that you reach out to your school's local Canvas administrator to see if this LTI tool could be added for you (most likely at the account level in Canvas vs. just for your course...as other instructors at your school may also want to use McGraw Hill at some point).
