LockDown Browser iPad app and Canvas - Issues?

I'm wondering if there have being any issues using Lockdown Browser on iPadOS whatsoever. Or any concerns at all. I'm exploring the possibilities before activating it for our students.

I'm no expert with Lockdown Browser, but I did find this:

Apparently it won't work in the web browser or the Canvas app and requires Lockdown Browser iPad app and some setting changes to the quiz. Good luck!

We have students whose submit button no longer becomes live.  They are unable to submit.  They end up having to sign into another device and sometimes all of their answers are saved, sometimes they are not. 

Response from Respondus- We are unable to replicate this issue on our systems. If the button is not live, it's possible a disconnect to the Canvas LMS server is occurring on the iPad.  The Canvas webpage may be detecting this and preventing the submit button from being clickable.
