From another discussion board...One thing I would check is that you aren't accidentally adding an extra blank space after your school ID. We recently had some issues with students not being able to log in and it was that after then entered in their username, they were inadvertently adding a space (blank) right after their username. This wasn't visible, but their phone was treating this blank space as part of their username, which was causing it not to work.
If you try this and it still doesn't help, then I would contact Canvas Support - How do I get help with the Student app on my iOS device?
