Kelly,
Canvas does not have a way to convert a Word doc to quiz questions. But, there is an application that does it and it has a 30 day free trial. Check out Respondus 4.0 at https://web.respondus.com/he/respondus/ It's not too expensive to purchase but better yet just get the 30 day trial to see how it works. I'll admit it's a bit clunky at first, but really can save a bit of time once you get used to it. At my school two of us have licenses and we do a lot of imports for faculty.
