Does Canvas have the message recall feature? Thanks very much.

@wli40 , unfortunately not. I've done things that I needed recalled before and the best I could do was to contact Canvas Support and ask them to clear it out/recall it. They were able to get it out of Canvas, BUT, remember that Canvas automatically forwards all inbox conversations out to student's email. This means that even if it's wiped out of Canvas it's still going to be in the student's email inbox. For this I talked with the person who runs our Student email server and he was able to get it out of the Student email (on the Institution side), BUT, if the student has their email forwarded to a third party email (gmail, yahoo, etc). then there is no way to get it back.
So, short story, there really isn't a way to recall a message, but even if you get it out of Canvas it's still going to be out in other places that will make it impossible to totally recall it.
