[ARCHIVED] Posting Feedback/Comments from Assignment without releasing grades/scores

I have been searching for a way of hiding the scores/grades from students assignments and releasing the comment only.

The research about feedback is pretty clear- if you students see a score and a comment, they look at the score. I want to try an subvert this by having a process where students would receive their comment on how to improve before they receive any grade or score. They would need to work with the feedback first, then i would release the grade.

Does anyone know how Canvas might achieve this? The work around of not completing any scores or completing the rubric seems a bit to tiresome for teachers to be effective.

Anyone doing something similar?
