Remove border from image

FOr some reason Canvas has decided to add a border to any image I insert onto a page and I don't want borders. Does anyone know how to prevent this? Have I ticked a box or pressed a key accidentally? Thanks for your help

Hello @leon_young ...

This does not sound like a normal Canvas behavior.  If you are sure that the image on your computer is exactly as the same as the image you are including in your content page, there should not be any other elements or properties of that image that would cause a border to show up.  I suppose what you could do is, once the image has been inserted onto the page, you could run your page through a HTML cleaner website to remove any "rogue" code that might be causing the issue.  I wrote a blog a while back called HTML Cleanup that might be of help to you.

Also, might you be willing to post the image before and after you inserted it into your page?  That might help Community members diagnose what might be going on.

Thanks Chofer, I will look at the HTML clean up blog.

The images I am using are tiles to click on for students to access weekly material and I have used them in several courses over the summer.  The images are png files.

I have reloaded the original images and that seems to have sorted it.  There must be something going on with the files when I copy the course. Thanks for your help

No luck, after initial success re uploading the files  the borders have reappeared. This doesn't happen with other users using the same files on the same module, it's very strange

Have you tried inserting a single image on a completely blank page in your course to see what happens?  After you save that page, go back to it later to see if the border appears again.  And, if you could, paste in the HTML code just for that page (it shouldn't be too long of a code snippet) so we can see what might be going on with the image.  Thanks!
