[ARCHIVED] Role where class wide email can be sent, but grades not seen?

Hello,

I'd like to add a student to have the ability to send class announcements, but do not want them to be able to see others grades.

None of the current options, I think, I support this. Any recommendations?

It sounds like you'd need to have a custom permission created by your school's local Canvas administrator that would meet those criteria.  You would probably want to have a conversation with your school's local Canvas administrator or someone from your school's Online Learning/eLearning department to learn if they would be willing to set up something like this for you.  These are the admin Guides they would use to create a role with the permissions you are seeking:
