[ARCHIVED] Shortcuts on Instructor Front Page

There are some typical tabs like gradebook, assignment, quizzes and modules that I visit for all the courses that I teach. As of now, to access the gradebook of a course, I have to first click on the course name and then click on the gradebook. Can we create a homepage where I have the courses and these typical tabs listed? This would be like creating shortcuts for these often visited typical tabs.

Hi @pshah -

Would you like to see those locations on your Dashboard with the course cards? If so, that would be something to submit as anidea conversation. 

In the past, I have created bookmarks in the bookmarks bar to a grade book or another location in my course that I need frequently, but often, I find that the click into the course plus one more to the "final" destination" isn't too bad once I'm in a good routine with my course design.

This is not "solved", it was tabled for feature map consideration.

Correct as far as the functionality goes.  However the question is solved as far as possible with the state of Canvas at this time.  It is just a matter of interpretation of what solved means.  There is solved and there is a way to do what you want.  And then there is this question is answered with that fact that it is not possible to do what you want.

What would be better is if instead of solved, there was an "answered but not possible" option for cases like this one (and a multitude of others).
