Are you referring to the "Stopped viewing the Canvas quiz-taking page" in the View Log? I have read that it can mean a few things: 1. The student was inactive on the page for more than 30 seconds (no mouse movement, etc.). 2. The student clicked to another window on the browser (i.e. possible cheating). 3. The student clicked to another area in Canvas (again possible cheating). From what other users have said, it is difficult to determine what the student was actually doing. I have had this happen, too, since we went online. I sent my students an email after the last quiz, letting them know I can view their activity. We will see if this decreases the "Stopped viewing" messages on the next quiz! Hope this helps
