Unable to hear presenter on BigBlueButton conference
I would like to find out, what could be the possible reasons a user cannot hear the presenter they join a conference on Big Blue Button ?
If it is their earphones settings problem, what is the recommended setting we should advise users to adjust to ?
I am the product manager for BigBlueButton. I work at Blindside Networks, the company that provides hosting for Canvas Conferences to Instructure, and while can't speak on behalf of Instructure, I can respond to your question.

Are they on a desktop/laptop?
At a high level, ensure the user is using either FireFox or Chrome (try switching between each browser). Also, if they join with a microphone, they should hear themselves in the echo test.
