Hello fellow CANVAS users,
I am in the middle of an online summer session and have had some problems with cheating. I am using the Canvas as a LMS and there is an option to choose “Video Log” as an option. This shows if students switch off the screen while taking a quiz or exam. I warn students ahead of time about this function and that if I see it, they will earn a zero for the exam. I just want to make sure that there is no other reason for the log to show a student stopped viewing the screen and switched, other than they switched screens. I have a call into Canvas, but am wondering if anyone has any experience with this. I am going to be using Lockdown Browser with Monitor in the future, but for now this is all I have along with writing questions that are harder to cheat on. I would appreciate any help.
