We have begun discussions with our web services dept about installing Hot Jar Heatmaps in our Canvas instance. Currently, we use it for our .edu site — have any other institutions use this product or another visualize behavior tool?

b You can add Google Analytics and use the chrome add-in google analytics page  (Chrome-extensie 'Pagina-analyse' - Google Analytics Help  ) this will not create heatmap but shows you the clicks.

I've installed Google Analytics and ideally, this will be used alongside that data.

Are our users scrolling? Do they think an image is clickable and it’s not? As a couple examples of what Google won’t tell us. Heat Maps will show a particular page by using color gradients where users are clicking and where they are simply hovering.
