Why do I have an error when uploading a photo into a discussion reply?

Why do I have an error when uploading a photo into a discussion reply? I have been trying for 2 days to upload a photo (both in jpeg and png format) into a discussion reply on two different computers and I keep receiving the same error.  I have uploaded to multiple discussion boards before and had no problems until now.

Hi,  @currin  Welcome to the Canvas Community! Is it an ungraded discussion? If so, it is possible that you have exceeded your user files quota, as attachments to ungraded discussions count against the user files quota whereas attachments to graded discussions do not. Check out the Notes section at the top of  How do I attach a file to a discussion reply as a student?  and use the instructions in https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-10565-421241989 to remove no-longer-needed files; that may well resolve the issue.
