assigning to the calendar?

How do I assign the new quizzes to the calendar?

For and instructor:

As soon as you add a due date to the quiz, it will automatically be added to the Calendar.

This does not work, because there is no area to place a date once it has been made.  This is for new quizzes, not the old style.
