how can I get material from cancelled class

I uploaded a lot of material to a class that was then cancelled, and although I immediately went to Canvas, it was gone. How can I get the material back?

You will need to contact your Canvas Administrator.  There is a high chance that the course still exists on the system in a "orphaned" state that your admin can access.
