Good evening,  @krobertson7  Welcome to the Canvas Community.  Thank you for posting your question.  I'm not sure if you realized this or not, but you have posted your question in the global Canvas Community website where people from all over the world come to ask questions, suggest new Feature Ideas, write blogs, collaborate with others, join groups, review "how to" written Guides and video tutorials, and a whole lot of other stuff...all about Canvas.  Your question is very specific to a course you are taking at your school.  Unfortunately, we here in the Community wouldn't have access to your Canvas environment or your course(s) in question.  The best advice I can give you is to reach out to your instructor directly.  You can do that via your "Help" menu within the left-hand global navigation in Canvas.  Here's a Guide with more information: How do I get help with Canvas as a student?  Good luck to you, Kim!
