[ARCHIVED] solution submitted to wrong assignment

A student submitted an assignment to the wrong assignment... that is, she submitted a solution for assignment 5 to assignment 6. How do I move that assignment to the correct place? Is there a way to at least delete/unsubmit so she can submit to the correct assignment?

You can't move it or delete it, at least not yet.There is a feature idea open to allow for this: https://community.canvaslms.com/ideas/4394-delete-submissions-by-students 

For now, you can optionally have the student go back and turn in assignment 5, although I would recommend it if possible. When assignment 6 comes along, she just submits over what is already there. Canvas allows multiple submissions on assignments for now and you'll see the latest one when you go to grade assignment 6.

There is development going on within Canvas and one of those areas is with assignments. One item in development is to limit the number of attempts, but for right now, students can submit multiple times (you can restrict attempts on quizzes) and so the student submitting assignment 6 by mistake won't keep her from resubmitting it later.
