I'm looking for an easy app that students can use to annotate a webpage or website for a English Composition course. The students must be able to make comments on the webpage and then save it and submit to the professor for grading.

Hello  @mgoby ...

The simplest thing I can think of would be for students to take a screen shot of the website they are looking at and then either:

1. Paste the screen shot into a Word document
2. Paste the screen shot into a simple graphics editor (the Paint program that is included with Windows comes to mind)

Then, students can use the drawing tools in either of those programs to annotate the image.  I realize that this might not be ideal and that multiple screen shots might need to be used depending on the length of the website in question, but this might be the fastest and easiest.  I did a quick search on Google to see what kinds of tools might be available, and one of the first search results was: Top 10 Website Annotation Tools - Mopinion...though I've not used any of the ones mentioned.

It's been almost four months since I last replied to you about your webpage annotations question.  I wanted to check in with you because I was curious to know if you've had a chance to review the feedback I gave you on March 16, 2018.  If so, did my response help to answer your question?  Do you have any outstanding questions as it relates to your initial question?  If you could please come back to this thread to provide an update for us, that would be helpful.  Since we've not heard back from you in almost four months, I am going to mark your question as "Assumed Answered".  However, that will not prevent you or others from posting additional questions and/or comments below that are related to this topic.  I hope that's alright with you, Marilyn.  Looking forward to hearing back from you soon.

Not sure if it'd be applicable in the same use case, but maybe try using this website annotation tool called ruttl. I heard from a friend that it's pretty good to annotate websites.
