@allison88 - the 'standard' ePortfolio that comes by default with Canvas works perfectly fine however there is also a Folio (ePortfolio) tool within the Portfolium system which can be optionally enabled (for free). I believe this is something your institution (IT Dept.?) would need to request via their Canvas contact, a Customer Success Manager.
I've used both tools and while I (or my students) never had issues with the original, the newer Folio is more refined/ developed with several additional features.
