Upcoming Portfolios release

Hi everyone,

Just wondering if you could provide any further information on the upcoming Portfolio in the next Canvas release? I would like to share the functionality with my organisation and would love to be able to provide the capabilities of this component of the software.

Where are you seeing an up-coming release for portfolios?  I am looking at this page, and I do not see anything related to portfolios:

Hi @Chris_Hofer, it was mentioned in the last Instructure User Group I attended, I haven't been able to find anything online about it though.

@allison88 - the 'standard' ePortfolio that comes by default with Canvas works perfectly fine however there is also a Folio (ePortfolio) tool within the Portfolium system which can be optionally enabled (for free). I believe this is something your institution (IT Dept.?) would need to request via their Canvas contact, a Customer Success Manager.  

I've used both tools and while I (or my students) never had issues with the original, the newer Folio is more refined/ developed with several additional features.
