The Instructure Community will enter a read-only state on November 22, 2025 as we prepare to migrate to our new Community platform in early December. Read our blog post for more info about this change.
The Office of Academic Strategy, the Instructure Community Team, and the Instructure Events Team are excited to announce a special read-along event featuring Cultures of Growth by Mary C. Murphy. The Book Club course, offered through Canvas Network, will extend the InstructureCon '24 experience and encourage participants to participate in collaborative dialogue and open-minded exploration.
Together, we will uncover what truly makes environments where people want to be, and how we can help others thrive and reach their full potential. Our conversations will bridge the insights from the book with our own professional experiences, empowering us to apply these principles in meaningful ways.
A read-along is a collaborative learning experience where participants engage with the course material. It's an opportunity to dive deep into the content, exchange ideas, and gain new insights through discussion and reflection.
The Cultures of Growth will take place October 1 - December 21, 2024. Reading will begin on October 14.
We’ll read a section of Mary Murphy’s book one week, and through discussions, we'll share our insights and takeaways from that section with our peers the next. This cadence will be repeated throughout the course to ensure everyone has plenty of time to read and reflect.
This year, Mary C. Murphy and Melissa Loble took the main stage as a featured keynote at InstructureCon '24. Whether you attended InstructureCon in Las Vegas or explored content and learned asynchronously later, everyone is welcome to read Cultures of Growth with the Instructure Community!
You are welcome to share this exciting opportunity with others! Invite your friends, colleagues, and anyone else who might be interested in exploring Cultures of Growth with us!
