Welcome to the Instructure Community!

First, we’re glad you’re here! We hope that you find the Community to be a collaborative and positive place where you can learn about Instructure products, share best practices, and learn from other Community members from around the world.

Before diving in, we’d appreciate it if you took a few minutes to become familiar with the Instructure Community Guidelines. It helps us continue to build a welcoming and inclusive space.

Build Your Profile

To really enhance your experience in the Instructure Community and to help others identify you as YOU, you can update your profile by updating your name, creating a short biography, and selecting one of our provided avatars. Make sure that your email is verified too!

While you’re exploring the Community, you’ll likely see ranks and roles listed beneath other Community Members’ usernames. This is a great way to tell how long someone has been a member, how active someone is in the Community, or if they’re part of a special group. You are currently a New Member, and you can quickly increase your rank!

Explore + Learn

Now, let’s explore! There are a lot of resources to find and collaborative experiences to share within the different spaces.

Guides

The most popular parts of the Community are the Guides! You can learn about each of Instructure’s products in well-organized guides. You can search the guides for keywords to really help you find what you need quickly as well.

Question Forums

It’s likely that you will also want to check out our active Question Forums. Like Guides, each Instructure Product has its own space for collaboration. This is done to help those seeking help connect with Community Members who are familiar with the product. Each space has a search option. You can search existing questions before posting your own. If you are motivated to help others, you can search that topic and join a thread. The Question Forums are a great way to “pay it forward” and start collaborating!

If you're interested in leveling up, this is a great place to offer comments, reward kudos, or document page reads. There are so many ways to engage in these spaces.

Collaboration

As you spend more time in the Community, you may want to start building your network within the Instructure Community. You will probably find that the more you invest into your own learning, the more you will gain…and the more you’ll help others. The Community is a pretty awesome place. Browse Interest Groups, join Community Events, and follow spaces or people!

The best place to quickly reference all Community How-To Guides is to select your profile image in the top-right corner, and then Community FAQ. This FAQ page will provide you with the essentials you’ll need as you become acquainted with all of the different aspects of the Instructure Community.

We hope that you love your time in the Community! If there’s anything we can do to help you get started, please let us know by emailing community@instructure.com
