  • The rollout of LTI 1.3 for Canvas Credentials began May 12. This update brings enhanced security, faster performance, and improved badge workflows. Built-in safeguards and support ensure a seamless transition.
Admin Analytics: Clearer Course Status Data
  • As of April 23, Admin Analytics and Course Readiness dashboards now show only courses with active enrollments. This update makes it easier to identify which courses are ready and which need attention—eliminating unnecessary data clutter.
Canvas Catalog: One-Click Duplicate Listings
  • A major timesaver for Catalog Admins! You can now duplicate course listings—title, description, settings, and more—with a single click. This streamlines your workflow and improves accuracy. Version 1 is live, with even more enhancements on the way.
Discussion Checkpoints Now at the Sub-Account Level
  • Gain more consistency and visibility across courses with Discussion Checkpoints now manageable at the sub-account level. This improvement supports scalable engagement tracking and better learner participation insights.
Grammarly Writing Score Now in Canvas
  • Grammarly for Education is now integrated directly into Canvas assignments! The new Writing Score LTI provides students and instructors with real-time feedback to elevate the writing process and streamline evaluation.
